Setting Up Your New Coffee Machine


Congratulations on your new coffee machine! Follow this guide to get started.


Before You Begin


Unboxing

  1. Carefully remove the machine from packaging
  2. Remove all protective materials and stickers
  3. Check all accessories are included (refer to your manual)
  4. Inspect for any shipping damage
  5. Keep packaging for 30 days in case of returns


Location

Choose a spot that has:

  • Flat, stable surface
  • Access to power outlet
  • Adequate ventilation (leave space around the machine)
  • Easy access to water source
  • Protection from direct sunlight


Initial Setup Steps


Step 1: Clean Before First Use

  1. Remove and rinse the water tank
  2. Rinse the drip tray
  3. Wipe down exterior with damp cloth
  4. Run water through the system (without coffee) 2-3 times


Step 2: Fill the Water Tank

  1. Remove the water tank
  2. Fill with fresh, cold water
  3. Do not exceed the maximum line
  4. Replace the tank securely


Step 3: Power On

  1. Plug in the machine
  2. Turn on the power switch
  3. Allow the machine to heat up (usually 2-5 minutes)
  4. Indicator lights will show when ready


Step 4: Prime the System

  1. Place a cup under the group head or spout
  2. Run water through without coffee
  3. This removes any manufacturing residue
  4. Repeat 2-3 times


Step 5: Make Your First Coffee

  1. Add fresh coffee beans to the hopper (if applicable)
  2. Or insert a pod/capsule
  3. Place your cup
  4. Select your desired coffee
  5. Enjoy!


Tips for Best Results


Water Quality

  • Use filtered water for better taste
  • Avoid distilled water (can damage some machines)
  • Change water daily for freshness


Coffee Beans

  • Use freshly roasted beans (within 2-4 weeks of roast date)
  • Store beans in airtight container away from light
  • Grind just before brewing for best flavour


Maintenance

  • Clean drip tray daily
  • Wipe steam wand after each use
  • Descale regularly (see your manual for frequency)
  • Replace water filter as recommended
